after realizing that my vague rantings might make sense all together, I figure, time for a new blog

Band Banquet was yesterday, and it was a lot of fun, I had some trouble with my tie before we left, but it was all fine, then Erick and I started to head out after I left a message for Sondra (its actually spelled with an 'a' but pronounced like that) in case she needed a ride, and so then as we got ino the car about to head out, I got a call from Jenn.... or at least from her phone.... it was Sondra and she needed a ride so we said we'd wait for her and we waited.... and waited...... and waited...... Jenn came down and old us that she was still getting ready and..... get ready for this...... PUTTING ON MAKEUP!!! Now Sondra is a gal who doesn't put on a lot of makeup so it really suprised us that she was putting on makeup that took quite a while(not really THAT long but long for her). ANYWAYS! She came out looking very nice in a cream skirt and black top, and then we were off to the band-quet! So we got there and parked, walked in and went over to the ballroom where we were ran in to a bunch of people including Krystle, Sam, Ben and Dan,  and chatted them up for a bit. Went over to talk to Margaret for a little bit and then saw a blond gal in a stunning black dress and I was like....  who is that?! and  as I looked again she walked toward the table next to me... and it was ANDREA!!!! Not to dimiminish from anyone else (they ALL looked REALLY REALLY GREAT!!!) but that dress on her just looked ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Courtney had like a prom dress on(also looking ravishing!) but I didn't get to appreciate it right away as she came over and gave me a birthday hug!! I snagged a sideways one from Andrea but I think it kinda scared her lol ANYWAY, started talkin to people then we took a Saxophone picture but, ah, my camera was bein wierd and didn't take that one or the all Alto one.  anyways! started walkin around tryin to find a place to sit, ended up sitting with the other Altos (minus Andrea and Tyson) and Sondra. The food was DELICIOUS and we had some fun conversations at the table, and watching the slideshow (go STEVE!) and the first part of the DVD was awesome. Its too bad that this will be the last time seeing some of the seniors but they all had such nice things to say!!! Now as for the "best section" award, I was disappointed that the chops got it, not that they aren't deserving but for such a large section they really didn't do enough to earn the award, I really think that the Horns deserved it more than they did but its all good, cuz next year, the SAXES will win the award!!! anyway, got to take a few pictures afterwards, they're on facebook now if you wanna see em then, erm, get on facebook! oh, also, got a pic with Krystle (who explained to me what the deal was with her BF today) but you don get to see her awesome skirt, which reminds me, I need to grab the picture with me and Michelle off of her camera, but again, you don't get to see her black dress which made her look amazing, in fact all the girls came out looking like movie-stars and even though Margaret only had on a black top and some nice slacks she looked really nice too, (AND! I got a birthday hug from Margaret, hehe, not many people can say that!) so then I came home (Sondra went home with Lacey and Mark came home with us) dropped off everyone and then basically crashed after a bit, and still not feelin 100% but I only have one final tommorrow morning so I should be able to rest afterwards, anyways blogging will be on and off during vacation so have a great one and expect more bloggin later this week!
